::Flashback::
17 year old Sasha Foote sat on her bed with a million thoughts running through her mind. ‘Would he be happy?’, ‘Would he be scared?’, ‘Is he ready?’. The teen knew this would change everything for the rest of her life, but oddly enough, she was calm, excited...she felt ready. Her thoughts were interrupted by her bedroom door opening and her boyfriend since freshman year, Jake Bloom walking in. Jake was a tall, athletic build with dirty blonde hair and a smile to die for. His ice blue eyes met with Sasha who returned a smile in his direction.
Sasha: “Hey. Thanks for coming over so fast.”
Jake: “When my girl calls, I answer.”
He smiles as he walks over to the bed, sitting down next to her. Sasha could feel her heart beating rapidly.
Jake: “Your mom is making cookies by the way. I could smell them all the way down the street, you knew I wouldn’t miss that for anything.”
His voice trails off.
Jake: “I love your mom’s cookies.”
Sasha laughs quietly as she places a hand on Jake’s knee.
Sasha: “I know you do, but i actually called you over here for something pretty serious. We’ve been together how long now? And we’ve...done things.”
Jake: “And I officially have no idea where you’re going with this. You seem nervous, what’s going on?”
His icy blue stare was more concerning now. Sasha didn’t usually beat around the bush. He rested his hand on hers.
Sasha: “I love you, you know that, and I would do almost anything to keep you in my life. I’m just...scared.”
Jake: “Scared of what? I’ve never seen you like this. I can’t help if you don’t tell me what’s going on.”
Sasha: “We haven’t been as careful lately as we used to be, and I was late, like, alot late, so I decided to go to CVS and pick up a pregnancy test…”
Jake’s jaw clenches, he blinks a few times.
Jake: “Okay and this is the part where you tell me you took the test and we’re good, right? A little scare, no big deal. We’ll be more careful the next time.”
Sasha: “Jake, I…”
Jake: “You what, Sash!?”
He looks down at their hands, in disbelief. He know’s what’s coming, but he doesn’t want to believe it.
Jake: “Think about our lives. We’re 17 years old. I’m looking at a scholarship for football, you were thinking about wrestling school when you turn 18. This isn’t how things were supposed to go.”
Sasha: “Maybe not but we both did our part. It wasn’t just me or just you that created this situation, it was US. Now it’s US that has to live with it.”
She still hasn’t actually told him yet, but he knew in his heart where she was going with it.
Sasha: “I haven’t told anyone yet. Not my parents, my friends, no one. I want you to be the first one I tell.”
Jake: “Screw that!”
He quickly pulls away from her, standing up. He runs his hand through his hair as he paces back and forth in her tiny bed room.
Jake: “I don’t want to hear it."
Sasha’s eyes widen, and she can feel her face getting red with anger.
Sasha: “Well you NEED to hear it! Jake, this is the one time I need you more than ever.”
Jake: “WE don’t need THIS! My parents will kill me. Do you think your dad is going to be okay with me coming over after you tell him?”
He continues pacing.
Jake: “This is a joke, right? I’m waiting for you to tell me it’s a joke. You always do this to me! You get me going and then you tell me you’re kidding. TELL ME YOU’RE KIDDING SASH!”
She looks down as she remains on the bed. This was NOTHING close to what she wanted or expected. She quietly says the words.
Sasha: “I’m pregnant.”
Jake stops pacing. He looks at Sasha who musters up the strength to look up at the boy she was in love with. The two lock eyes and just stare at each other. Finally, Sasha stands up and Jake scurries back towards the bedroom door.
Sasha: “Jake, where are you-?”
She’s cut off as he takes another step back, holding an arm in the air to keep her at a distance from him. He looks shocked, like he had just had the air knocked out of him.
Sasha: “I know it wasn’t planned and we’re young, but we can do this. Think of what this means for us, we’re about to become a real family. I’m carrying OUR little girl or little boy. We created this little person inside of me together.”
She smiles and wipes at her cheek. Sasha is an emotional person, but she isn’t a crier usually.
Sasha: “I love you...WE love you.”
Sasha places a hand on her stomach and Jake reaches back, grabbing the door handle. He turns around without saying a word and exits Sasha’s bedroom. Sasha stands there, staring blankly as everything she knew in her life was about to change forever. This would be the last time Sasha has ever seen Jake. He would have no involvement in the life of their daughter, Brittany who would be born months later.

Detroit, Michigan
Sasha’s home
Sasha had only been back in Detroit for a few hours and things were returning to normal for her. Brittany had been brought home by her parents and was taking a nap, and for the first time, her boyfriend Drew Davies was preparing to meet her.
Drew knocked on the screen door prompting Sasha to get up and unlock it. She had asked him to explore the area a little while Brittany was brought home. Not wanting to overwhelm either Brit or Drew, afterall, meeting her daughter was stressful enough, meeting her parents on top of that would have been alot, at least she thought so.
She pulled the screen door open and offered a smile. For the last few days, Sasha hadn’t been herself. She could feel things coming to an end for her in Texas, and with uncertainty, as well as the still lingering headache after such a physically exhausting match, she was ready to get back to routine, if only for a few days.
Sasha: “I see you found the place okay. I know it isn’t as big as you probably imagined, but it’s home.”
She shuts the screen door as well as the actual door behind him, locking up.
Sasha: “What were you getting into before I texted you to come over?”
Drew smiles at his girlfriend, the affection he holds for her apparent.
Drew: “I was here and there, stopped at a few places. Nothing too crazy...I did pick up something.”
Drew reaches into his backpack and pulls out a navy Detroit Tigers hat and holds it up proudly.
Drew: “I figured if my charm didn't win your family over, shameless pandering would.”
Sasha can’t help but smile at the humor in what he had said.
Sasha: “My family is going to love you when they finally meet you. Honestly, there have been a few men in my life in the last few years, but this already feels different.”
She takes his hand.
Sasha: “Let’s sit down.”
Sasha leads Drew to her couch as the sun creeps in between the blinds. The two sit down as Drew looks around and spots some pictures of Sasha when she was little along the walls, and pictures of Brittany. The two look nearly identical in the pictures.
Sasha: “I was married a few months ago and honestly, it was a healthy marriage. I think in the end, we were just in two different places in life. Keith wanted me to be this stay at home mom, content with taking care of the family, the house, and him taking care of me, and as nice as that sounds to some people, that isn’t me. I knew I could take care of my family and live my dream and continue wrestling, but the more we talked about it, the more we disagreed over it and eventually, we decided on the divorce. Then I rushed into the thing with Tyson, and I really can’t say a bad word about him, but it wasn’t meant to be. Now, a lot of people think I’m rushing into things with you, but it feels different. It feels right.”
Drew nods as he listened to her words.
Drew: “Sometimes when people feel comfortable, it makes it hard to accept change or to continue to chase your dreams. I really admire the fact you had the guts to do what you did. It's one of the things I find so attractive about you. Your unrelenting desire to chase after what you want. I feel like I could learn a lot from you...and I feel so blessed to be with you.”
Drew casually interlocks their fingers as he holds her hand.
Drew: “This does feel really good. Really right. I'd say I'm sorry those past relationships didn't work out...but I'd be lying. I'm glad whatever happened led you to me.”
Sasha: “Things happen for a reason, right?”
She looks up at the blinds, finding it poetic that the sun is beaming in on their hands together.
Sasha: “This is a big, big step. You know Brit is my world and I’ve brought her around Tyson and obviously since we didn’t end up working out, she’s upset over it. They bonded pretty quickly. I don’t want her growing close with you and then something happens between us and she gets hurt again. So, I really need you to be honest with me. Are you SURE about this? About us? There’s a long, kind of crazy story about me and Brit’s father that I’ll get into one day, but here, now, this is about us, and I need to know where you really stand and how you really feel.”
Drew looks into her eyes, never breaking the gaze as he speaks.
Drew: “Sasha, to be completely honest I've never felt so close to anyone else like I've felt with you. I'm not sure what it's like to have to worry about a child, I've got no idea. What I do know is you're important to me...and she's the world to you. So that means what is good for her is all I care about. I hope she'll like me, in freaking scared shitless she won't like me…”
Drew chuckles a bit, trying to ease his tension.
Drew: “But you and me, I'm in it until the end of the line. I've never had a family, I don't know what it's like having people who care about me...but I think I'm ready to try. Especially with you.”
Sasha: “She’s asleep now, but when she wakes up, you’ll know it. She’s hyper, fair warning.”
Sasha gets a little more comfortable on the couch.
Sasha: “I’m sorry for how moody I’ve been lately. I know sometimes I’m not the easiest person in the world to deal with. Right now, well after today, my focus is solely on Gavin Grimes. This is the person that has been unpinnable for months now, and I want to be the one to beat him. If I’ve went a little hard on you in training, that’s why.”
She laughs a little bit, looking down at their hands.
Sasha: “A few months ago, I think everyone would have said this match could have gone either way, but now I’m the underdog to almost everyone. I want to shock the world like I’ve done in the past, I want to prove EVERYONE wrong. I want it...so...bad.”
Drew feels her grip on his hand tighten as she grows more passionate and animated talking about her upcoming opponent at Vendetta.
Drew: “You don't have to apologize to me for anything. You've been amazing ever since the first time we spoke. And I know you're going to give Gavin hell. I've seen how he has been overlooking you and I know you're going to make him pay…”
Drew looks at the pile of wrestling figures in the corner and smiles.
Drew: “I can't help but wonder if I should have brought her a gift today. Did she like the flowers?”
Sasha: “She loved the flowers, and do you see all of those toys? Does it look like she needs anymore?”
Before Drew can respond, both Sasha and Drew hear a door open down the hallway. Sasha whispers.
Sasha: “I think she’s up…”
Sasha’s now six year old daughter, Brittany comes running down the hallway and into the living room full speed. The little girl is a spitting image of Sasha.
Brittany: “MOMMY!”
Brittany slides to a stop seeing Drew on the couch with her mom. She points at Drew.
Brittany: “Who is that?”
Sasha laughs as she stands up from the couch. She walks over to her daughter and gets on a knee so that they are face to face.
Sasha: “Remember the man who sent the flowers for you? That’s him. His name is Drew.”
Brittany looks past Sasha at Drew.
Brittany: “I love flowers, mommy!”
Sasha leans in, whispering.
Sasha: “Maybe you should go thank him, then?”
Brittany grins at Sasha and runs past her and leaps onto the couch, nearly landing on Drew. Drew laughs and scoots over to give the energetic little girl some more room.
Brittany: “Thank you for the flowers Mr.Drew!”
She stares at the young rookie wrestler, grinning and Drew is amazed at how much she looks like her mother.
Drew: “You are very welcome. It's so nice to meet you.”
Drew shakes her hand gently.
Drew: “Did you have a good nap?”
Brittany: “I wasn’t taking a nap, I was drawing.”
She leans in to whisper, much like Sasha had done with her moments ago.
Brittany: “Don’t tell mommy.”
Drew smirks and leans in.
Drew: “Our little secret.”
She plops down on the couch butt first and then slides off. She walks over to her pile of wrestling toys and selects the Sasha figure and a Jacob Daniels figure. She returns to the couch and kneels next to it and sits the Jacob Daniels figure onto the couch as she continues holding the Sasha.
Brittany: “Do you want to have a wrestling match with me?”
Sasha is standing back, watching them with a smile on her face.
Drew: “Of course! I'm assuming I'm going to be the big man Daniels huh? I dunno Brit, he looks pretty tough.”
Drew picks up the figure and stands him up. He speaks in a cartoonish tough voice.
Drew: “Grrr...I'm Jacob Daniels. And I'm gonna beat everybody!!!!”
Brittany: “He can’t beat mommy!”
Brittany slams the Sasha figure into the Jacob Daniels figure and makes Sasha pin Jacob.
Brittany: “1..2...3!!!”
The little girl shouts the three count out before letting go of the toy and quickly running back towards her room. Sasha laughs as she walks over and picks up both toys.
Sasha: “Did you really lose to a six year old, Drew?”
Drew laughs and shrugs.
Drew: “What can I say? Sasha Foote, even in action figure form is tough to beat.”
Sasha: “Now I just have to prove that to Gavin on Saturday.”
Sasha grins for a moment, but she knew how big this match at Vendetta was. She tries pushing it to the back of her mind for the moment.
Sasha: “Well I’m sure she’s going to get something and come running back out any second. I’m going to start dinner. Any preference?”
Drew: “Actually, I was hoping if I could take you two ladies out on a special night on the town...I've heard of this really amazing place-”
Sasha looks confused before Drew speaks up.
Drew: “Chuck E. Cheese?”
Davies smirks as he raises his eyebrows. Sasha couldn’t look happier.
Sasha: “Just when I thought you couldn’t gain anymore points with her...she will LOVE that. Let me go get her ready, and we’ll do it.”
Sasha quickly kisses Drew’s lips before heading towards Brittany’s room to get her ready for the fun night ahead of them.
[ON CAMERA]
Las Vegas, Nevada
The camera opens up as Sasha is standing on top of a tall building in Las Vegas, Nevada, current residence of NGW Unified Heavyweight champion, Gavin Grimes. The camera is focusing on the ground below, the numerous cars that travel the busy streets as we hear Foote’s voice narrate.
“It’s a long way down when you’re on top, I would know, I’ve been there. I was undefeated in kickboxing, and then I made a successful transition to wrestling, where I wasn’t undefeated, but I was one of the top names anywhere I went. At the height of my career I was nearly unbeatable in Redefine Pro and was a former Redefine Pro World Champion.
At the top, you feel untouchable. Sometimes you get too comfortable in your position, and when that happens, it’s only a matter of time until you make a mistake that costs you a match or a championship. When you finally do get your shoulders pinned to the mat, it changes everything. You go from being on top of the world, to feeling like you’re above everyone else in your profession, to feeling like your entire world just crumbled around you.”
The camera cuts and when it resumes Sasha is now on the ground looking up at the very building she was standing atop moments ago.
“From the bottom, you have two options. Give up, or fight your way back to the top. Gavin Grimes has called me a quitter. He said I quit anywhere I’ve ever worked, but he clearly hasn’t done his research. By everywhere does he just mean NGW? Because I was signed to Redefine until I got married and took time off for that, I never quit. I was in WWA until they closed their doors and then I signed a part time contract to wrestle in NGW. I never quit, I never walked out on my job here, I asked for my release when they were unable to give me a match. I have a passion for wrestling, so to label me a quitter when I asked to be released to wrestle more seems like he’s reaching, but isn’t that what Gavin does? For the record, I will be re-signing for another stop in Texas.
Gavin has had no problem making things personal in the past with his opponents and he’s already done it with me on Twitter. It’s totally fine for him to call someone a quitter, and to poke at the fact that I’ve been divorced and am a single mother, but when I call him a life long screw up, it’s the end of the world? Your parents paid you to stay away from your sister, that should validate my screw up point pretty clearly.
Ask yourself this Gavin, how many times have you personally attacked your opponents? How many times have you tried to make them feel so small in your presence or coming up against you? When someone does it back, you try to play the victim in an attempt to gain sympathy, but I’m not a bad person. I just have a problem with you. Ask anyone that has ever known me. I have a big heart but I have a big temper to match it. I can be the nicest person in the world, but if you say something that gets under my skin I’ll make you regret it until I knock you out.”
Sasha walks into the building and begins walking up some stairs as a camera follows behind her and one follows in front of her.
“A few months ago, you tweeted that you wanted a match with me. NGW couldn’t make it happen and that’s when I asked for my release. It’s funny, back then your then fiancee, now wife Ashleigh said she didn’t know who I was and you told her to be nice and that she had to know who I was, but just recently when we started getting into it and exchanging words, you tried playing the same ‘who are you’ card. Considering you knew who I was a few months ago, I don’t think you forgot in that short amount of time who I am and what I’m capable of, unless all of the matches you’ve been wrestling lately are causing temporary memory loss.”
Sasha continues her trek up the stairs.
“How do you expect to be at your best in Memphis when you have two matches before me this week? You just wrestled Blyss in what you tweeted was the ‘most difficult match in your career’. You also have to wrestle Heath Sommersby BEFORE our match. Regardless of how good of shape you are in, wrestling two matches in one night puts you at a greater risk to lose. I know you’ve pulled double duty before and won, but I wasn’t your opponent then and it wasn’t in the same week as a match that left you ‘barely able to walk’ according to your Twitter as well. The Blyss Lockhart match of course. If it isn't your body that gives up on you, maybe it will be your mind. You aren't focused. You spent 75 percent of your video to promote your match with Sommersby talking about Corey Bull. A lack of focus against me will cost you big time. You can doubt me or look down on me for my recent string of losses in Texas, but despite those losses, you can’t deny the talent that I bring to the table. If I weren’t talented, NGW wouldn’t have me back for this match, Honor Wrestling and F Society wouldn’t be trying to out-bid the other for me to sign with them. This time you might be biting off more than you can chew.”
The ‘3PS’ wrestler finally makes it up all of the steps and is now back on top of the building. She again looks over the city that Gavin Grimes calls home.
“I have a clear advantage in our match considering I’m not wrestling a single match this week until we square off. I didn’t have a match Tuesday, and I don’t have a match before you on Vendetta. There’s nothing wrong with being a fighting competitor or champion, but there’s a time and a place to choose your battles and your pride gets in the way of that. I’ve seen your wife Ashleigh talk you out of matches you have already agreed to on Twitter in the past. It was back in February or March when you agreed to wrestle Kiana Pearson in IPW, and Ashleigh publically bailed you out on Twitter, telling you to stop taking too many matches. Maybe you should start taking her advice, because taking on too many people at once will do nothing for the longevity of your career.
Another advantage I have going into our match is I’m already in your head. Half of the battle in wrestling is mental and when you have someone on the ropes mentally, it makes it easier to beat them physically. You said yourself on Twitter that you ‘F’d up’ and were the reason Ashleigh punched a door and injured her hand, I called you a screw up over it and you threw a tantrum. An emotional wrestler makes mistakes, I know because I’ve been there in the past. Just recently I allowed what someone said about my daughter to upset me, I went into a match and I lost, but this match with you? I’m not making the same mistakes. I know what’s at stake. I could become the first wrestler to pin you in an NGW ring, and I’m not taking that lightly.
I’ve done my research on you, I’ve watched you and I would be lying if I said you weren’t talented. You’re unpinned here for a reason, but I also see the mistakes you make. In your last match where you teamed with Ashleigh, you clearly weren’t looking like yourself and you even said she had to save you. There’s no tagging out in our match Gavin. Ashleigh won’t be in your corner to save you.”
Foote sits down, letting her legs dangle off of the building.
“I’ll be in your home company, NGW. A place I proudly worked for at one point. When I brought the challenge to you and suggested a CWT vs NGW showdown, you demanded it be in NGW. Not that I have a problem with it, but I find it funny that you wouldn’t consider it unless it were in your home company. The ego of a champion indeed, but just because we’re wrestling in NGW doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed a win. What do I have to lose in this match, think about that?
I’m coming into this match as the underdog. Not many people expect me to come to NGW and defeat you, so if I lose, I’ll get the generic trash talk you pull after you beat someone and then I’m back in Texas, but what happens if you lose? If I beat you, I have EVERYTHING to gain. I would be the first person to pin you in NGW. I would hold a victory over the CURRENT NGW Unified Heavyweight champion, and my stock IMMEDIATELY increases. All of those losses that you’ve mocked me for on Twitter, they all go away because I would have proved personally that not only can I hang with you in the ring, but that I’m actually BETTER than you.”
The blonde closes her eyes as she takes in the Vegas air. Her hair gently blows as a breeze hits her.
“It was Las Vegas that gave you a second chance in life since you screwed up back in Sacramento, fact. In Vegas, you were mentored by Xavier Young and because of him you have a career. Because of Xavier, you were given a chance in Portland Pro, and because of Dead Eye, you were given an even bigger opportunity in NGW. Now, deny it all you want and say that NGW would have signed you whether Dead Eye was around or not, but you personally have said that Dead Eye was the reason you signed with the company. Fast forward a few months after his injury and you have publically defended Ashleigh when she spoke out saying F Dead Eye, F Karin James and started throwing this Power Couple thing around. You yourself have said Dead Eye is gone, and there’s no other power couple besides you and Ashleigh. Why do I bring this up? What makes it relevant? It’s relevant because while Dead Eye represented the company as a true champion and someone to look up to, you spit in your ‘best friends’ face at his weakest moment when he can’t defend himself, all for the attention that comes with being part of a ‘Power Couple’. How can you call ANYONE out for saying ANYTHING when you disrespected your own friend who may never wrestle again while he’s injured?”
Sasha wears a look of disappointment on her face.
“Speaking of Power Couple, it’s funny that you flaunt that so proudly when you have admitted to Ashleigh carrying you multiple times. For being so powerful, you guys fight a lot too, don’t you? Most power couples don’t have fights that involve one of them getting so angry that they punch a door. Most power couples don’t need to validate such a label by spitting on the hard work of their friends and most power couples don’t have public fights every other week on Twitter. Why do you even need to be a part of a power couple in wrestling? Sure, I’m dating a wrestler right now, but I’m helping to train him to become a POWER of his own, just as I am. I earn my own wins or accept my own losses, and I make no excuses for them.”
Sasha stands up, walking back towards the middle of the building.
“I stand in the city YOU reside in letting you know that in Memphis at Vendetta, I’m bringing EVERYTHING I have. You can do this for personal pride, to impress your wife, or to try to prove that I’m ‘trash’, but I’m doing it for so much more. I’m fighting for my daughter that wants to be just like me. I’m doing this to show the world that you can get knocked down, you can lose a few matches, but those losses can NEVER define you if you don’t allow them to.
It would be easy for me to stay in Texas and wrestle ‘nobodies’ as you call them, but that isn’t who I am or what I’m about. I enjoy wrestling the best in the world, and despite your attitude, your arrogance, and your assumptions, you are great in the ring.
You might be able to outwrestle me, but I have the advantage in striking. All it takes is ONE kick to the face to knock you out. If you don’t believe me, go back and watch what I did to Carmine Reaper a few months ago in our first match in NGW.
You are the one with everything to lose Gavin, the pressure is on YOU. If you lose to me, how can you return to that locker room and call yourself a champion? How can you look each peer in their eyes and tell them that you didn’t let your own ego be the cause of your downfall.
I’m not only doing this for me, or Brittany, but I’m doing this for everyone you have ever attacked on social media. Just as I’m sure you will attack me personally and bring up my relationships or my lack of recent success, I’ve seen you do the same thing to others. You think you can find a weakness on someone and prey on it, but I’m not a victim and I won’t fall at your feet.
Vendetta is a few days away. I have one match to focus on, one opponent to focus on and one goal and that is to win. You’ve had to focus on Blyss, and now you have to focus on Heath before you even think of focusing on me, and you clearly aren’t at 100 percent after that brutal match on Tuesday. You might believe you can do it, you might be able to convince your fans that you can do it, but you haven’t convinced me that you can do it. Any wrestler knows that each match you wrestle brings risks of injury, fatigue, and those effects carry on match to match, even if the matches are weeks apart. You don’t even have weeks between these matches. You are wrestling three matches in five days, this is the one time where your pride will finally catch up to you.”
Sasha gives a stern glare to the camera.
“Sasha Foote returns to NGW for one night only at Vendetta, and this might be a non title match, but I’m walking in to defeat the champion and to prove that I’m one of the best in this business no matter where I choose to wrestle. You’ve criticized me for going to the ‘little leagues’ or the small times, but I do this out of passion, not for worldwide recognition or a paycheck.
Passion.
You either have it or you don’t. I have more of it than you could ever imagine, Gavin. Go ahead and make fun of me for competing in a Goldfish on a Pole match, make fun of the fact that I don't win every match, say as many curse words as you need to get your point across, but don't underestimate me. You want me at my best? You've got it. Good luck.”
Sasha walks through the door on top of the building to head back down the stairs as the camera cuts to black.

7/30/16
Memphis, TN
FedExForum
In what has been an intense week for Sasha Foote, the night in which she had been preparing for was finally here. Tonight, she would have the chance to wrestle the NGW Unified Heavyweight Champion in a non-title match. Most people would be relaxing before such a big match, but Sasha wasn’t most people. In a business where money can change people, Foote has always been her, unapologetically so. Her temper has gotten the best of her on occassion, but she’s always been someone that prides herself fighting for the people, and that’s where she found herself.
While Gavin Grimes was somewhere in the arena she was sure, preparing for their showdown, she was walking among the fans in her ring gear, signing autographs. After signing and chatting with the fans, she finally made her way backstage again. An NGW camera caught up to her and she stopped, smiling for the camera.
“You want an interview right now?”
The camera-man nods and shouts RECORDING!
[ON CAMERA]
“So, tonight is the night. I’m at the FedExForum for Vendetta and I have a match against the NGW Unified Heavyweight Champion, Gavin Grimes. I first want to say that I’m excited to be back in NGW, even for one night. This is a company that I respect tremendously and a company that I hope I can return to one day in the future. That being said, tonight is about doing what I do best and that’s going out there, putting everything on the line and hopefully picking up the win. My parents and my daughter will be in the front row, so that’s really all of the motivation I need.
To Gavin, I want to say good luck. I know we’ve went back and forth on Twitter, he’s said some crazy stuff to me, and I’ve said just as much to him, but at the end of the day the talking is over and we have to go out there and wrestle. I’m expecting him to keep things to his liking, he’ll try to outwrestle me and keep me grounded, and I’ll do whatever I can to keep this fight on our feet. While he’s looking for a big move, I’m looking for a big strike and that’s all I really need.
Gavin is the unpinned champion here for a reason, he’s usually the one that gets in people’s heads and intimidates them before the matches, but I haven’t allowed him to do that. He got personal in his match video, he took some cheap shots, but Gavin has always done that, the difference between me and all of his previous opponents is, despite my temper which we all know I have, I know when to turn it on and turn it off. If I wrestle an aggressive, angry match, I’ll make mistakes and that’s what he’s banking on. I’m going out there with one goal, and thats to think one step ahead of him at all times. If I can get him frustrated, then I can control the pace of the match.”
She runs a hand through her hair.
“I really need to finish getting ready, but I want to thank NGW again for the opportunity and to all of my fans, I hope you enjoy this one. This match is just as much for you as it is for me or my family. Without you, there would be no Sasha Foote, no Gavin Grimes and no NGW, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you and tonight I’m going to hopefully give you guys something to talk about for the next few weeks until the next Vendetta.”
The blonde smiles and waves for the camera as it slowly fades to black.
