Brief Character Bio: Johnny Maverick is a delightful punk rock asshole who believes with all of his heart he is the greatest fighter who ever lived. That ego makes him a little overbearing to some but fans have a soft spot for his often bizarre overly confident attitude (dubbed once in BWF as 'Schizo Swagger') and his desire to have a good time at all costs. Johnny is highly narcissistic, offensive, violent, sexual, so really just about perfect for the wrestling industry. Johnny has competed in more companies than he can bother counting and has a history of feuds with authority figures (at one point beating a GM for control of their company and then selling the company to the competition in exchange for a dollar for the soda machine. It ate his dollar). Johnny has had a rocky past filled with drug abuse and addiction but he has been clean and sober for 3 years now and is open and frank about his past with his fans, even sharing with them that he was briefly legally dead. Johnny's dual mantras are 'Never Give Up, Never Surrender, Never Relent' and 'Fuck Subtlety' and he does his best to live up to both of them.

2. Magic Bullet Theory- Johnny lunges forward to hit his opponent with a Superman punch and as they are falling he quickly spins to nail them with a devastating spinning backfist. (It is named after the infamous conspiracy theory regarding the JFK assassination and similarly causes his opponents head to snap 'back and to the left')

The lights all suddenly cut off and the screen turns to nothing but static. The word 'MAVERICK' finally bleeds through the static as the opening of 'Subtle Hustle' begins playing. Johnny struts out casually and smirks to the crowd cockily. He bends down and bangs his gloves on his kickpads, his knees, then his thighs before rearing back and pounding on his chest as he releases a war cry. A complete shift in demeanor.

Johnny smirks maniacally after his roar and struts to the ring. He hops on the apron and flips over the top rope, landing on his feet.
