Personality Information
Alignment: Face
Favorite Match: Inferno Match (In his career, JMC has had 10 of these (including 3 Stages of FinalHazard circumstances) and is undefeated in this matchtype); 3 Stages of FinalHazard (2-of-3 falls match, where 1st fall is normal, 2nd fall an Extreme Match, and 3rd fall, if needed, an Inferno Match); Twisted Elegance Match (dome cage match with weapons hung from the inside; winner must keep the opponent down for a clean 10-count without using duct tape, rope, or any other advantage-giving tools)
Worst Match: N/A (since this is a one-match-only contract, this won't be necessary)
Favorite Weapon: Sega Genesis controller (used as whip from either end)
Brief Character Bio:JMC started out as a typical kid from middle America until an attempt to defend his then-girlfriend from a bully attack left his right hand so broken and burned it has since permanently scarred to where his two middle fingers can't move independently of each other (hence the birth of his "SuperFinger" salute to the fans). As a result, JMC's mind broke and created an alter-ego known as "Shadow Chaos", a heartless masochist who not only thrived on pain, but allowed it to feed his adrenaline. Starting out in street-fighting circuits, he began to get enough notoriety to compete in wrestling organizations all over the world, winning many championships and creating a household identity as "The Borderline Psycho-Genius", a man who didn't just fight you in the ring, but mentally dissected you outside it too, and "Your Friendly Resident Jackass".
It was in these feds that JMC crossed paths with Nicole Starr, a gorgeous redhead competing as "Angelfire". The two ended up married in 2000 and have since had five children, Lindsay, Sage, and Etienne (all 21, but JMC's from a previous relationship), Destiny (16) and Eugene (13). Unfortunately, Nikki had been a plant, an agent of the man who caused JMC's hand issues in the first place. When JMC finally found out, he dropped Nikki from his life fast. However, after a week-long ordeal in which he was abducted and subjected to head trauma, drugs, and torture, the memories of such had been erased from JMC's head, seemingly along with any "Shadow Chaos" abilities he had to begin with.
Or so we'd thought.
Originally supposed to debut in Inferno Wrestling, JMC took an extended sabbatical upon the vehicle crash that killed his son Eugene and almost paralyzed his daughter Destiny. Somehow during that time, JMC regained his memories and the Shadow Chaos identity with it. Done with the ring, his plans with the NGW company was originally to promote IPW events across the state. However, there's still one promise he has to keep before he can walk away from wrestling forever.
And it involves one of the men who saved him during his abduction...
Wrestling Style: Hybrid. JMC employs a style of wrestling that blends high-risk, stable, and hardcore elements together in a way that keeps opponents guessing what exactly he's going to.
Ring Gear: Similar style to Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style (see image for reference) except helmet is a wrestling mask with the front made of plastic and metal, similar to a Halloween mask design, and the hand symbol on the belt is replaced by a "§"; entrance attire includes a wide-brim Outback hat that hides the mask until the appropriate time. This is a one-time-only costume designed specifically for the match he will be participating in; should the third fall be required, JMC will remove the trench coat before going any further to avoid giving his opponent an advantage.
Any Managers: None
Any Stables: None
Previous Accomplishments: Indiana Street Fighting Circuit Transcontinental Champion (held title for two years before retiring from the company to pursue wrestling); AWC Hardcore Championship; AWC World Championship; only HBAW Grand Slam Champion (won each of World, Hardcore, Intercontinental, and Tag championships at least once in his career there); HBAW Hall of Fame Inductee; first-ever EWA Grand Slam Champion (same as HBAW's); first ever EWA Hall of Fame inductee; 2x EWA "Best Mic Skills" award recipient (2001 and 2002); last-known EWA Intercontinental Champion; former owner of Cairo Championship Wrestling; only XWA Chaos Champion (fed went defunct before title could ever be defended); FTW Tag Team Champion w/"Nightbringer" Ryan Corey (title vacated due to health issues); FTW "Couple of the Year" 2010 award recipient w/Tara Shannon; last-known UXW Xtreme Champion (fed was shut down shortly before title could be defended)
Strengths: For being almost 40 years old (the age most people retire in this sport), JMC is in shockingly excellent physical condition. His strength, agility, and tenacity all lend themsevles well to his eclectic style of wrestling, which would be best described as CM Punk mixed with Al Snow if The Rock was the coagulant between them. He's also very charismatic, able to get the fans behind him even in the toughest of times, and his mic skills, while some could argue a bit dated in today's world, are almost impeccable. Lastly, pain doesn't seem to weaken him; in fact, his alter ego Shadow Chaos feeds off of any pain and discomfort. As Shadow Chaos, JMC is considerably more violent and risque with his moves and attitude and can adapt more easily on the fly, but sacrifices any foreplanning he might have had. Normally he reserves the Shadow Chaos identity for high-profile and personal feuds, but the match he's coming to NGW for requires him to use it to even have a fair chance.
Weaknesses: JMC's admittedly not the fastest wrestler in the circuit, and that can be exploited if the right opponent comes along. Also, even though he feeds off of pain, there is a limit to what he can handle, especially toward his right hand, which, thanks to the amount of scarring on it, is considerably weaker than the rest of his body. Finally, as a veteran, JMC has a habit of overthinking what his opponent is going to do next, which, depending on who he's facing, can end up being like the Taskmaster going against Deadpool; ironically, this dynamic reverses once JMC goes into Shadow Chaos' identity and can actually be an advantage given the opponent in question.
Common Moves:

Please list two signature move:
1. "Retrospect" (Scoop Reverse Osaka Street Cutter; can sometimes be used as alternate finisher, but only if JMC would normally be able to lift the opponent)
2. "Hold My Drink, B*tch!" (backflip dropkick from the top rope)
Please list two finishers (one submission and one non-submission)
1. "Retroactive" (STO backbreaker followed by Reverse STO, aka Lethal Combination. Sometimes JMC will add a Koji Clutch to the end as well just to switch things up)
2. "Retrograde" (Backstabber, but while JMC still has control of the arms he locks in the Rings of Saturn on his opponent after rolling them face down. Reserved for matches where "Retroactive" has already been tried and failed)
Please give a brief entrance:
The arena suddenly goes dark for a few seconds as feedback plays, finally pulsing under the ramp when the opening riff of "Survival" by Eminem picks up. Video is played featuring highlights from some of JMC's past matches, including Brandon Kraus, Alexander Raven, Naiser King, Jabba, Ryan Matthews, Nick Malone, and Melody Torres-Reed, amongst others. Interlaced into the video is footage of JMC smirking at the camera, a few shots of him and past teammates together, and the JMC "Multiverse" symbol on top of the Cornett winged tribal ankh. Meanwhile, at the start of Eminem's first verse, James M. Cornett emerges from under the ramp on a lifting platform decked out in his Shadow Chaos gear, and while his face is covered by a mask and hat, the pose he strikes is one of confidence and, to most, intimidation.
Shae Jackson: On his way to the ring, from North Manchester, Indiana, weighing in at two hundred seventy-four pounds, Your Friendly Resident Jackass...James...Mitchell...COOOOORNETT!
As "Survival" continues to play, JMC doesn't make any sudden movements, but instead walks calmly to the ring. As he gets to ringside, he turns back to the ramp and takes off his hat to reveal a prismatic mask that covers his entire face. He throws the hat into the audience, and while a young fan catches it and starts to freak out, JMC rolls under the bottom rope into the ring. He stands in the middle of the ring, facing to the left of the entrance ramp into the cameras. His sole action as the music dies down is to look side to side as sudden chants of "Thank You James!" start to flood the arena. Clearly soaking the moment in, JMC slowly raises his right hand to produce his longtime symbol the SuperFinger, causing the fans to freak out in cheers. After a bit of time, JMC puts his hand back down and goes to the corner opposite the announce team.
