In early January 2016, a weekly professional wrestling operation closed its doors abruptly leaving a hole in the industry. Charles James, II (also known professionally as Dead Eye) was a part of this company and approached Devlin Scott knowing that this business venture could be a big one. With the upfront cash of Devlin Scott and the professional drive of Charles James, II they opened the doors of Indy Pro Wrestling. It is a win-win situation for the two of them as Mr. Scott will earned dividends as Mr. James will be able to further his professional career.
The company operates a weekly live Internet show airing live on NGW's web platform as well airing in multiple markets across the midwest. The current base of operations is Indianapolis, Indiana with weekly "Conflict" shows taking place at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum while Pay-Per-View shows will take place live from the "Bankers Life Fieldhouse".
Indianapolis Professional Wrestling (more commonly known as Indy Pro Wrestling) is an extension of the New Generation Wrestling (NGW) brand. Devlin Scott (owner of NGW) owns Indy Pro Wrestling as a venture for talent looking to remain in one location and for a weekly company. Our weekly show called "Conflict" take place at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana while our Pay-Per-Views take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. As Devlin Scott manages the day-to-day activities of NGW, Charles James maintains the day-to-day activities of IPW as its Executive Vice President.
As of March 2016, Charles James has exited the position due to suffering an in-ring injury with former wrestler Hayden Phoenix taking over Indy Pro and the day-to-day activities.
