The scene opens with Dead Eye standing on the stage where he, and everyone else wrestling at All Roads Lead Home, will enter in just a few hours. He looks around the empty arena and then into the camera.
Dead Eye:
Saturday, November 21, 2015, is a date that will go down as a historic night for New Generation Wrestling for a variety of reasons. The main event will see the first Unified Champion crowned in the main event that pits NGW World Heavyweight Champion, Carmine Reaper, against Anzac Pro Champion, Bronx Valescence. The Five Lakes Championship will be on the line when Hayden Phoenix defends against Tee Voland. Both of those matches feature members of The Uprising looking to make history and maintain their championships. What of the other two members of the group? Well, neither have titles to defend as of yet but both of us have just in front of us the opportunity to make a little history of our own and become rookies with a title shot by winning Trials and Tribulations II. For those not so astute, I refer to myself and Avery Miles, III. Only one can be the man to make that history; I am that man. Of course, I mean no disrespect to my homie, Avery, when I say that. That said, I guess by night's end, you can refer to me as the Undisputed future of NGW.
Dead Eye flashes a quick smirk to the camera.
Dead Eye:
I know it seems like a different mindset from me in a way. Everyone sees this humble cat from the ghetto that has massive amounts of respect for his opponents, deserving or not, and wants to show kids that grew up in his environment that there is hope out there for them. I'm still that dude, but at the end of the day, it is about that same respect that I show my opponents. Respect which many of my opponents have failed to show me leading into this match. I'll get to that in a moment, though. Right now, let's just focus on my comment about being the future of this company and this business. I've held that mindset from the day I signed my contract. Nothing's changed about that. What has changed is the fact that each and every time I've stepped foot in a ring, whether here or in my MMA days, I've proven why I'm the future. I've said before that, with each match I play another card fromt he massive hand I have ready to play from. I'm too smart to do like so many other and just throw all my cards on the table at once and hope for a winning hand. It's called unpredictability. I suggest that my peers learn that. There's so much more to me than anyone in this business has seen or can possibly imagine. What you've gotten so far are mere glimpses at your future. Cocky? Maybe. Confident? You beat your fuckin ass. I recently called myself the top wrestler in this company, which was met with some questioning by my stablemate, Carmine Reaper.
Dead Eye shrugs.
Dead Eye:
I know...on paper, I'm not the top guy in NGW. I just said I'm the top WRESTLER in this company. Hell, I haven't even held a title here yet. There's a simple reason for that...I haven't been given a title shot here yet, but what can you do if you're Devlin Scott? No one in the Marquee division can possibly hold my jock. For those taking notes at home, I am indeed referring to Dirk and Tara. So, this company rightfully saw dollar signs after my first few matches and put me at the top of the food chain...BUT..there's a few roadblocks in the way of showing exactly why I was put in the spot as the only contender to the top prize. Before I even burst onto the scene here, it was already established for there to be both a title unification match--that holds up my opportunity--and a second Trials and Tribulations match--that I will win. So, what do you do if you're Dead Eye? Unless it gets in the way of getting what I want, I'm pretty much a go-with-the-flow kinda cat. So, I do exactly what got me to this spot. I earn it with the God-given ability I put on display and give the fans every dollar worth the cost of admission. Every other match becomes an added bonus to their money spent.
When I do that, maybe everyone will begin to realize why I've put everybody on blast. Then, you see why I've had this whirlwind week of media appearances that this company afforded no one else...not even the guys that are main eventing All Roads Lead Home. Instead, Bronx and Carmine were left to go on quests of finding personalities and finding the will to win, respectively. But, I digress. It wasn't by accident that I was given these spots, either, and it wasn't just simply because I align myself with intelligent business men that know how to get me and this company exposure. Men? Yeah, Bryan Brown...and the other? You'll see soon enough. Those aren't the reasons, as I said. It's because I'm the one with the best set of skills, IQ, and natural ability this company has ever seen. Some may laugh. Some may think I've lost my damn mind. Others may even hit me with a "Really nigguh?". At the end of this day, it will be proven when I earn this title shot and move on to become the true, undisputed champion this company deserves as its face.
Dead Eye puts up his index finger as if he is saying "hold up".
Dead Eye:
Something else I'm too smart to do is to get too far ahead of myself. While I'm speaking facts about the near future, I'm not looking past the task at-hand. And, even though it may seem like it, I'm not letting the success I've had in such a short time get to my head...okay, maybe a little while there I did. You see, I won two consecutive matches, including the match that got me into T&T. I went up the ranks, let that get into my head, and found myself losing two matches within a few days of each other. That taught me a lot. It taught me to mind myself a bit, but it also taught me that I could step up against those more experienced. For those that don't take the time to watch matches you're not a part of, I'll let you in on the fact that I narrowly lost those matches. I'm not let down by those finishes. It showed me that sometimes I may need to throw just one more extra card out in those types of matches. It's also given me an even bigger drive to beat those types of challengers. Those matches also earned me notoreity and respect from some outside of this company. The funny thing is that some that have seen more of me haven't given me that level of respect. So, let me show you what I mean since the guys in the truck were gracious enough to give me a little assist here...
The following scenes are played on the video screen in the arena.
Dead Eye:
Avery Miles seems to be the only one that sees me for the threat I am in this match. Avery is a smart guy, and I have a great deal of respect for him; that is obvious. I wouldn't have approached Hayden about making him a part of The Uprising had I not thought highly of him. That said, this ain't about friendship; it's about becoming the holder of that title contract. That's all there is to it. I have no doubt that if we end up in the ring together with others in the way that we'll do exactly what we did to John Blade and clear house to finish the match as the final two. Speaking of teaming up, where the fuck are Dirk and Tara? The paper champ and his girlfriend haven't been heard from since Bronx and Carmine showed them that they can't win a match when they're up against someone other than themselves. You two are making a mockery of championship gold, so I would love the opportunity to show you both your place in this company. And when I think of showing people in this match where they belong in this company, Tee Voland comes to the forefront of my mind. She may have shown me the greatest amount of disrespect out of anyone in this match. Apparently, I only deserved those few sentences from her while she talked at length about others. To her credit, she did say that I look like her toughest obstacle, but then she thinks other people in this match will make ME look good?
Dead Eye laughs.
Dead Eye:
In just a short time, I've stood toe-to-toe with champions and former champions. Some, I've beat; some, I have not. That's more to say than Tee who has lost to them all. I refuse to allow myself to be her next Bronx or Hayden and allow her to try to ride my coattails after this match is over. I prefer to just completely out-class and out-wrestle Tee, assuming we meet in this match at some point and she doesn't just fall flat on her pale ass and get eliminated as quickly as she pinned that jabroni she caught off guard at Vendetta. No, Tee, in my matches, I haven't been embarrassed like you have since you joined this company. Regardless of the outcome, it was close, so I don't need someone to make me look good outside of myself. If anything, it's gonna be me making all of you look like main eventers instead of the bottom feeders you'll go back to being after this match is over. I do say that with one exception. After this match, I'm sure Avery will go back on a rise...another asterick. He is scheduled to fight me next month...but outside of that, huge upside for Miles. I don't know if I can say the same about everyone else. I know Tee has a chip on her shoulder. Everyone reminds her of her track record here--myself included--, she wants to set up a future for her siblings, blah, blah, fuckin' blah. To put it simply, I'll be kicker her pale ass. I find it funny show she ragged-on KEG for his record. Pot...kettle...black. 'Nuff said. So, I guess that brings me to the aforementioned Otis of NGW.
Dead Eye sighs.
Dead Eye:
What can I say about KEG that hasn't already been said? I gotta give him props first. KEG is the cockroach of NGW. No matter how many times he gets knocked down, he seems to come right back for more. I can appreciate that. Keep fighting, Otis...you'll get another title again, but it'll probably be against the likes of Dirk or Tara. What it won't be is the Undisputed title. No, that one will be mine soon enough. KEG, you said it looks like I care. Trust me. I do, potna. I care about this business and my career with every fiber of my being. Everyone can disrespect and discount me all they want, but it's a bad look, homie. I guess most of my opponents consider me the...darkhorse...in this match. Let's see how many people catch that boss-ass reference.
When I came out here, I said history will be made. I listed everyone else that was going to make history, but let's talk about the history I make here tonight. For starters, this is my first supercard here in NGW. Secondly, I'm gonna give you all a little swerve, if you will. For the first time in my NGW career, I will be wrestling at All Roads Lead Home unmasked. I want everyone in this match and in the locker room to look right at this face...the face that will soon take over this company. I am bringing out a more fierce and focused version of myself than anyone has seen to-date. Lastly, if you haven't figured it out...I make history by becoming the rookie that gets a title shot in his fifth match with the company. Tonight, you will all learn that you have no choice but to respect me. I'm gonna win this match in style, and it's gonna be a night to remember...a night where I prove I am #TheFuture.

Tee Voland: Now, Dead Eye, you're a little harder to read. Compared to the others in this match, you actually look like the toughest obstacle I'll have. That doesn't mean you're tough enough to stop me, of course, but maybe if you don't embarrass yourself the others will manage to make you look good by comparison.
KEG: Ya know, KEG is just gettin' started here, so why don't ya hop in and let's go for a ride Dead Eye...A ride y'all never ever forget for as long as ya live bitch. Y'all find out why KEG is an NGW ORIGINAL and I ain't gonna go anywhere unless I want to.
