(Scene opens to High Flyer and Jimmy stood against a black background. In the middle of the wall behind them is what appears to be a large white bed sheet, with the words 'The High Flyer Show' painted across it rather sloppily. High Flyer is dressed in a cheap grey suit, yellow shirt and has his rusty "British Heavyweight Championship" wrapped around his waist. Jimmy, in his usual janitor overalls, has a series of cue cards in his hands which he's studying thoroughly.)
High Flyer: Greetings one and all and welcome to The High Flyer Show. I am your hero, the saviour of lucha libre, the King of the Cruiserweights, and the only recognised British Heavyweight Champion, High Flyer. And this is Jimmy, for those of you that don't know, a pathetic janitor whom I have taken under my wing here in NGSE.
(High Flyer points at Jimmy as he begins reading from his cue card.)
Jimmy: Hello.. eveybody. Hello.. High Flyer. It is.. great.. to be.. in your.. presence.
High Flyer: Now this weekend sees me continue my undefeated streak in the Memorial Day Battle Royal. I don't know what it is a memorial of, presumably to celebrate a fortnight since my incredible debut here in NGSE. A match against one of my previous casualties, John William Kingsley. The man from Johnwilliamkingsleyshire. An usual place name to say the least. Now Jimmy, have you ever heard of this place?
Jimmy: No.. High Flyer.. I have.. never.. ever.. heard of.. Johnsomethingshire.
High Flyer: Few have, my pathetic friend, few have. Well let me tell you I've been there on my many travels. You see I've wrestled in Mexico, Japan, Cambodia, Parts Unknown, and even Johnwilliamkingsleyshire.
Jimmy: Tell.. me.. Mr High Flyer.. Sir.. Where is.. JohnKingstonshire?
High Flyer: Well I'm glad you asked Leroy because many moons ago I was a talented young globetrotter, touring the world, sharing my unique set of skills with the wrestling faithful. I did Phillipino Death Matches. The deadliest of the death matches. I did Ladder matches, mud wrestling matches. You name it. Well whilst touring I visited the notoriously famous Parts Unknown. Few people know if it's where abouts but I can tell you it's a beautiful little town overlooking the sea. The locals are very passionate about their wrestling, which is probably why they keeping turning out so many top athletes. I spent a few nights there with a few of their famous residents; Giant Gonzales, Doink the Clown, The Ultimate Warrior, The Berzerker and Papa Shango. Great guys, especially that Shango, he was a riot! Anyway, after Parts Unknown I ventured onto the town of 'Anywhere he darn well pleases', which wrestling aficionados will know as the hometown of Sid Vicious, and then I did a few shows in 'The Bottomless Pit' against local hero the Boogeyman, followed by stop offs in Dudleyville, Death Valley and The Diamond Mine. Anyhow, in amongst all that I passed Johnwilliamkingsleyshire. Well, it was a dump. Not even worth talking about to be honest. I'll tell you who is worth talking about though..
El Hijo del Feugo!
My man! My brother from another Mother. When we lock horns we are going to set this place on fire! There's gonna be so many aerial maneuvers going on I'm expecting most of this match to take place ten feet in the air. This is gonna be a right ding dong of a battle. Of course ultimately you'll lose, they always do. There's only one supreme lucha libre, there's only one King of the Cruiserweights. But you and I we're not so different. You see I too once graced the squared circle of Mexico. And with great aplomb. They loved me so much they nicknamed me El Broma Grande. I never bothered to ask what it meant, something great no doubt.
Ace Skye is the one to be wary of. He's gone under the radar. So far under the radar in fact we don't even know what he sounds like. I respect that. A man of mystery. Top bloke. But he too will fall short this weekend! See y'all in Michigan.
