It’s been a long, long day. The sunset throws amber light over all the vehicles in the parking lot. Bright reflections bounce off windshields, spreading the light farther. A slight breeze blows clouds of tiny insects through the air. We find Kiana walking towards her Carnation pink Hummer. Her steps are premeditated, and cautious, as if to avoid further pain to some unknown muscle. Her ripped white off the shoulder shirt she’s wearing has a perfect ring of sweat, along with her armpits. Skin flushed, muscles bulging from fresh use, we know where she’s been.
Kiana notices the camera man walking clumsily through the parking lot towards her. She’s beyond tired. But Alexis needs a rebuttal to the mistaken identity she’s labeled Kiana with.
Kiana pulls spread fingers across her forehead, bringing wet strands of hair off of her face and back into the place they belong.
Kiana, what do you think about the upcoming match you have with The Queen Alexis Terry? Are you Nervous at all? Will you even show?
Kiana turns towards the camera, making direct eye contact to make it known she’s addressing Alexis
Alexis versus whomever might show up…
That’s so funny.. But probably not so much for you when I’m the one showing up. I’m not going to stay home, or just lay down for you and give you a pinfall.
Kiana states this with disgust in her voice at the very notion-
No one will get a pin out of me unless they earn it. You need to be willing to earn your win from me Alexis. Show me what you’re made of, and what this win means to you dear.
Kiana turns to walk away, as the camera man proceeds to probe deeper into her emotional status. –
Kiana! Are you nervous to be facing a multi-championship holder?
Nervous? I don’t have multiple championships, like Alexis. But what does that really mean to me? What I care about, is that she doesn't have this one. And she won’t. What really matters is what my opponent does after he or she has felt the first hit from me. When that first blow comes in contact with their body and the shock wave spreads across them. When we are finally past the talk and they feel my true power. That is all that really matters. The ring is what matters.
Kiana again glares into the soul of the camera with hardened eyes-
I’m not going to tell you about how much this championship means to me because to be frank with you Alexis, as of right now, it doesn't really mean a whole lot… not yet. I grew up in a place where you earn every morsel and penny you have. This doesn't feel earned yet for me. I keep looking forward to challenges and so far I've received none. The more awarded my opponent is, the more I look forward to getting in the ring with them.
Kiana again turns slightly as if she’s thinking of ending this here. As she turns she stops suddenly, she faces the Camera, but not with as much intensity as before. She’s remember something she almost forgot, and you can tell it on her face. –
Transitional champion… Kiana says as if confirming to herself that she’d heard this correctly. Is that all you think of me Alexis? Really? To be honest, I won’t lie when I found out about this match; I was excited to be wrestling Alexis Terry. I’m not a fan girl, but I do respect talent when I see it. Don’t you hate that feeling when you find out someone you respect is, well, for lack of a better word…a bitch? Haha. But it’s fine Alexis, I found out Rhya was as well. Some people mistake respect or admiration for weakness. This was one of her many mistakes. . It’s a much better feeling when you know you can beat the person you once looked up to. When the new girl to the industry crushes the multi-champion. I don’t need a god to help me with you Alexis, don’t give yourself that much credit.
I've faced men just like you. Maybe you are too distracted by my tight outfits to really see the size of woman I really am. I’m not one of these little girls. I’m just as strong as any man, and stronger than most I've known. That is one mistake that will get you crushed Alexis. Underestimating my power. Underestimating me.
Kiana stands proudly, showing off the body she works so hard to maintain and improve, knowing Alexis has really taken notice but maybe not to it’s full extent
If there is anything I’m good at, it’s lifting people over my head of any size or sex and breaking them. I train day in and day out to look like this… flawless and chiseled muscle by muscle. Losers are the ones who underestimate me. You’re setting yourself up for failure, and disappointment.
I will say again that I look forward to this match. Facing someone of your caliber is what I need right now. I need to truly earn this belt for myself. Everyone else knows it’s mine, but I hold myself to a higher standard. I’m sorry you have to be another casualty left at my feet at the end of this upcoming match. But losing is just something I can’t do. To make this easy on yourself there are some things you can do though Alexis.. Take your beating. Don’t stay home, don’t lay down for me, but take your beating and learn from it and improve. Maybe you’ll earn my respect again then.
Kiana finally walks away without hesitation this time. She gets to her hummer and climbs in slowly, avoiding anymore muscle pain. She’s worked out hard… and feels it’s really going to show in the ring.
